The former Ebenezer church was built in 1905 with a church hall and extra spaces on the upper floors as well as business premises on street level. The house is one of the few examples in Luleå of large-scale art nouveau architecture. Today, Ebeneser is a vital cultural center and meeting place at the intersection of culture and business, with a non-profit cultural scene, creative meeting place and node for cultural development.
3. Vetenskapens hus (venue for the open conference), Storgatan 53, 972 31 Luleå
Vetenskapens hus is a public meeting place, hosted by Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) – the world’s oldest engineering academy, LKAB and Luleå University of Technology with the aim of building bridges between academia, business and politics for human beings’ ability to contribute positively to society. The house was built in 1953 and was originally Luleå’s post office. It’s a protected cultural building with architectural qualities. The ceiling height is nine meters.

5. Hägnan open-air museum at world heritage site Gammelstad Church Town (venue for campfire sessions), 15 minutes by bus from Luleå city centre.
The World Heritage Gammelstad Church Town is the largest and most well-preserved church town in the world. Here you will find a medieval stone church, consecrated in 1492, surrounded by hundreds of red church cottages. The church cottages were built by farmers on the countryside, that used them for temporary housing when they attended church, markets and district court sessions. Adjacent to the church town lies open-air museum Hägnan which shows life on the countryside in the North of Sweden from the late 18th Century to the 1940s.
